Full Stack Software Developer - Misinformation Mitigation

Temporary Full Stack Software Developer position to lead development of misinformation mitigation systems, working with the Complex Data Lab’s Misinformation Mitigation team at Mila, a global hub of scientific advances in artificial intelligence.

Requirements

• BSc degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 5+ years of experience building large-scale software and web applications
• Strong experience with web development frameworks like Next.js, CSS, HTML5, etc.
• Solid knowledge of Python
• Database management experience (e.g., Mongo)
• Experience with threading and concurrency
• Experience with containerization
• Experience with testing and version control
• Experience with APIs, web services and RESTFul conventions
• Proficient English
