Fabrication Associate I

Fabrication Associate I position responsible for safely and correctly setting up, operating, and shutting down basic Fabrication Equipment while maintaining quality, efficiency, and inventory control requirements.

Requirements

• Manually places material on equipment and operates machine to manufacture parts within tolerance prescribed on blueprints.
• Runs Fabrication Machinery including Spot Welding, Press Brakes, Pem Serters, CNC Machinery, Harger Hardware Insertion, Cold Saw, etc.
• Makes routine adjustments to ensure parts are within tolerance.
• Checks parts to print using proper QC measuring equipment.
• Loads/unloads machines and checks basic cross-reference information to assure correct part is being processed.
• Performs lower-level duties such as filing, sanding, etc.
• Uses computer to accurately confirm labor based on priority of the job board.
• Escalates any issues and/or delays to supervisor as needed.
• Performs basic quality checks at specific intervals on machine parts.
