Job Description
Foreman leads a vegetation management crew, operating equipment, enforcing safety practices, and maintaining records. The role involves coordinating with customers, property owners, and the general public, as well as reporting to the General Foreman.
Requirements
- Field experience as a vegetation management crew member
- Ability to evaluate circuit conditions and hours required to complete clearances to utility specifications
- Computer knowledge
- Communication skills with various levels of field and management personnel
- Ability to maintain attention and concentration for extended periods
- Ability to wear necessary PPE
- Ability to safely drive an approved company vehicle
- Ability to enter and exit a vehicle numerous times a day
- Ability to withstand exposure to all kinds of weather
- Ability to traverse various terrains
- Knowledge of heavy equipment
- Transportation to and from the show up location
- Willingness to travel out of state for emergency storm work
- Pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Pass a background check and Motor Vehicle Records Check (MVR)
- Valid driver's license
