Job Description
The Gas Designer is responsible for developing, reviewing, and guiding the production of natural gas distribution and transmission system designs. The role requires consistent collaboration with project managers, engineers, cad technicians, field personnel, and external agencies to resolve design challenges, verify field conditions, coordinate data, and support successful execution of complex and largeāscale gas utility projects.
Requirements
- Associate Degree in Engineering Technology, Drafting/Design, or a related technical field
- Minimum 2 years of AutoCAD and/or MicroStation experience
- AutoCAD Civil 3D experience preferred
- Minimum 1 year of experience in an engineering or construction discipline
- Minimum 1 year of utility and/or gas distribution or transmission design experience preferred
- Valid driverās license with the ability to travel to field locations (up to 15% local travel)
