Job Description
Enforces state and federal laws, preserves peace, solves problems, and provides community policing. Responds to emergency and non-emergency calls, investigates crimes, and apprehends violators. Must maintain integrity, professionalism, and accountability.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Peace Officer certification with the California Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST)
- Basic POST certificate
- Valid California State Drivers License
- Field Training completion
- Additional technical training and certifications may be required
