Job Description
The City of San Francisco is seeking a Police Trainee / Police Officer to join their team. As a Police Trainee, you will complete a POST Regular Basic Academy and receive training in law enforcement procedures. As a Police Officer, you will have the opportunity to work in a diverse community and provide public safety services.
Requirements
- US citizen or permanent resident alien
- At least 21 years old
- Valid California Drivers License
- Basic knowledge in First Aid / CPR, campus streets, buildings, and parking lots, general law enforcement procedures, vehicle laws, use of firearms
- Observes situations analytically, impartially, and objectively
- Demonstrated verbal and written skills and ability to interact with a diverse community
- Able to pass medical and psychological examinations and background investigation
- Able to work rotating shifts in all inclement and diverse weather conditions
