Job Description
Senior Crime and Intelligence Analyst (COH) - Under general direction, performs a wide variety of professional and administrative research and analysis of criminal justice information and activities. Conducts staffing utilization and allocation studies, plans, conducts, and evaluates departmental programs, and trains police personnel on crime analysis and criminal apprehension.
Requirements
- Data analysis and evaluation for program implementation
- Knowledge of police systems, law enforcement, and the criminal justice system
- Automated law enforcement systems and software
- Database administration and design
- Basic administrative research, analysis, and statistical methods
- Methods of report writing
- Recordkeeping principles and practices
