Lead Cloud Engineer

We're a waste prevention technology company seeking a Lead Cloud Engineer to lead our Cloud work across our AWS infrastructure. You'll design, build, and maintain our end-to-end applications and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver intuitive user experiences.

Requirements

• 6+ years as a cloud (services) engineer / backend engineer
• Strong API design experience, and an understanding of building asynchronous systems and error handling
• Hands-on experience with AWS (AWS IoT is a plus)
• Familiarity with data pipelines and cloud-native data streaming and processing tools, such as Kinesis
• Strong background in Python
• Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure, preferably with serverless architectures and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools
• Passion for building reliable systems with deep knowledge of observability, tracing, and system performance
• Excellent communication skills
