Design Within Reach is a company that creates and sources pieces of furniture that are meant to be enjoyed over a lifetime. They are looking for a Sales Assistant to join their team in their New York City location. As a Sales Assistant, you will support the team and clients by helping with day-to-day operations in the store, including sales support, customer service, inventory, and visual merchandising.
Requirements
- Interest in design, retail, or customer service
- Previous retail or customer-facing experience is a plus, but not required
- Comfortable using Mac OS, Microsoft Office, Gmail, and navigating websites
- Willingness to learn systems like salesforce and design software
- Able to lift up to 20 lbs and move items as needed
