Actuarial Intern

Milliman is seeking an intern to join their life insurance team in Indonesia, supporting the development and delivery of projects, including mergers and acquisitions, life insurance valuation, and actuarial modeling. The role involves monitoring market developments, modeling activities, and assumption studies, with a focus on ongoing professional development in a stimulating environment.

Requirements

• Currently studying in a program in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or other numerate degree subject with strong academic record
• Good progress on actuarial exams would be a plus
• Ability to analyse and apply creative problem-solving skills both independently and within a team
• Self-motivated individual with a sense of intellectual curiosity, willingness, and ability to learn new things
• Excellent communication in both English and Bahasa Indonesia as well as time management skills
• Proficiency in Excel and VBA and experience with actuarial software would be an extra value
