Job Description
MILVETS Systems Technology, Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to support the USAF Distributed Mission Operations Center (DMOC) at Kirtland AFB in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The role involves designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software systems, collaborating with the team to troubleshoot issues and enhance backend services and web applications, implementing software improvements, and ensuring compliance with DoD security standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or Data Science, or equivalent certifications (CISSP-ISSAP, GSEC, CSSLP).
- DoD 8570 IAT-II certification (CompTIA Security+ or higher) required within 60 days of hire.
- Relevant experience: 9+ years with a Bachelor’s, 7+ years with a Master’s, 4+ years with a PhD.
