Major Gifts Officer

Join the Development Team at the Milwaukee Public Museum as a Major Gifts Officer to help build a new home for the museum and ensure financial sustainability for the future.

Requirements

• Manage a portfolio of approximately 125-150 major gift prospects
• Make face-to-face presentations to donors and coordinate involvement from other staff members
• Demonstrate a keen sense of curiosity for donors and adapt to meet their needs
• Solicit portfolio donors to perpetuate their giving through planned gifts
• Participate in departmental and Gift Officer Team meetings
• Attend Membership and Development department events
• Represent MPM and carry out responsibilities with independent professional judgment
