Job Description
The Milwaukee Public Museum is looking for a Public Safety Officer to work a full time, rotating, 40-hour work week, primarily on 1st shift, with occasional coverage on 2nd or 3rd shift. The role involves safeguarding museum collections and ensuring the well-being of employees and visitors.
Requirements
- Safeguard museum collections
- Ensure the well-being of museum employees and visitors
- Use all 5 senses to make observations of irregularities and document them in written reports
- Patrol the over 400,000 square foot building
- Monitor 200 cameras in the dispatch office
- Serve as a resource for multiple departments via radio communication
