Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical failures, perform preventive maintenance, and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 8 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination in equipment maintenance, troubleshooting and repair
- Ability to work independently or with minimal supervision
- Ability to read and understand hydraulic & electrical schematics
- Ability to troubleshoot automation PLC controls
- Ability to operate lathes, milling machines, welders, and other shop equipment
- General knowledge of safe working practices including Lock-Out/Tag Out
- Strong organizational and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to interpret complex situations and execute actions and plans
- Excellent project management skills – ability to manage timelines and meet deadlines
