Lead Front End Developer - Contract to Hire

We are seeking a Lead Front End Developer to join our team on a contract-to-hire basis. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in front end development, with expertise in HTML5, CSS, SCSS, and JavaScript. They will be responsible for developing user interface design prototypes, building high-fidelity prototypes, and maintaining HTML and CSS for different components and styles in a live style guide.

Requirements

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field of study
• 5+ years of experience coding
• Ideal team player personality: Humble, Hungry, and Smart
• Ability to work well with both technical and non-technical team members
• Willingness to learn and share knowledge
• Experience with Web Application development and Responsive Design Framework
• Experience with JavaScript libraries such as jQuery, AngularJS, etc.
• Familiarity with MVC, MVVM and Single Page Application
• Strong organizational, writing, and verbal skills
• Ability to prioritize work load and consistently meet deadlines
• QA experience - particularly ability to cross browser test
• Code development management experience (using Git(hub) and pull requests)
• Style Guide creation and update experience (particularly with Handlebars and JSON)
