Job Description
This is a technical position within Minteq's Application Technology Team, responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing Minteq equipment related to Wire, Laser, and Refractory business. The role involves working independently and being available on call, with a mix of work from home and travel to various Steel Mills and Minteq shops.
Requirements
- Be proficient in all aspects of equipment operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of all equipment
- Perform pneumatic, hydraulic, electronic and electrical repairs to equipment
- Read schematics and diagrams
- Maintain a strong focus on satisfying the customer
- Maintain a professional, high profile with the customer
- Actively participates in the implementation of sustainable improvement processes
