
Job description
The Material Handler is responsible for the safe and accurate movement of materials throughout the Meriden facility. This includes receiving inbound shipments, putting away and stocking materials, staging and kitting components to support production, and preparing and shipping outbound orders.
Unload inbound deliveries, inspect shipments, process receipts, stage quarantine or non-conforming material, move materials throughout the facility, put away received materials, replenish floor stock, maintain accurate location records, pull materials from inventory, assemble and verify kits, pick, pack, and prepare finished goods for shipment.
The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, physical stamina, and ability to work in a fast-paced production environment. They will be reliable, self-motivated, and able to prioritize tasks. Forklift or pallet jack certification is preferred, but not required.
