Product Engineer 1

Mishimoto is seeking a Product Engineer I to design and develop performance automotive products. The role involves product design, fabrication, dyno testing, and 2D/3D modeling. The ideal candidate has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or a related degree and 1-3 years of experience in Original Equipment Manufacturing or auto manufacturing.

Requirements

• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or related degree
• 1-3 years of experience in Original Equipment Manufacturing or auto manufacturing
• Basic knowledge of 3D-modeling software, 3D scanning, 3D printing, and their application to the design process
• Basic knowledge in GD&T and 2D drawing creation
• Basic knowledge of automotive components and systems
• Understanding of fluid dynamics and thermodynamics
• Understanding of manufacturing and quality control processes, material selection, and assembly methods
• Hands-on experience working on vehicles
• Hands-on experience with sheet metal fabrication tools
• Timeliness and attention to detail are critical
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
