Electrical Apprentice - Winter/Spring 2026 Class January - April

MCS is hiring an Electrical Apprentice in Tampa, Florida for a 4-year Apprenticeship Program through the I.E.C. The candidate will work full-time, Monday-Friday 7am-4pm, with additional classroom time on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. The Electrical Apprentice must demonstrate the ability to read, interpret, and execute drawings, schematics, blueprints, and electrical code specifications for commercial electrical equipment installations.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Apprenticeship training preferred
• Ability to obtain a Florida State JLA (Jessica Lunsford Act) Badge
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, diagrams, and blueprints
• Knowledge of “Safe” working practices (ex. OSHA, Lock Out / Tag Out)
• Clean background with the ability to pass a required drug screening
