Job Description
We are searching for a Lead Machine Builder to collaborate with Controls/Mechanical Engineers, Project Managers, and other team members to complete machine builds per project specifications while mentoring and training Machine Builders. The ideal candidate will balance multiple projects, possess high technical aptitude, and have a broad experience in automation.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent certification
- 5 years of experience in machine build or applicable field
- Experience mentoring, coaching, and training staff
- Proficient in reading part and assembly drawings
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude with focus on safety and quality
- Ability to maintain steady pace while bending, kneeling, climbing ladders, and climbing into and beneath machines
- Experienced in computer skills including Microsoft Office
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as required
- Ability to obtain Hi-Lo and Aerial Platform and Overhead Crane License
- Ability to provide your own hand tools and toolbox
