Cloud Solutions Architect (VDI/AWS Workspaces)

As a Senior Cloud Solutions Architect (VDI/AWS Workspaces), you will work with Mission Cloud’s customers to develop strategic solutions leveraging the AWS portfolio, focused on WorkSpaces. You will work with our Project Management and Cloud Engineering teams to provide Mission’s Professional Services to the accounts and projects to which you’re aligned.

Requirements

• Experience working in a customer-facing consulting role
• Experience developing project roadmaps, LOE estimates, and design documents
• Ability to lead customer facing projects, assigning work to teams, and quality checking engineering work
• Ability to translate technical requirements to a non-technical audience
• Ability to present solutions to customers, overcome objectives, and create consensus
• Extensive experience designing and deploying AWS WorkSpaces and AppStream/WorkSpaces Applications environments aligned to user personas
• Strong knowledge of networking for end-user computing
• Hands-on experience designing AWS VPC connectivity for EUC
• Expertise with Active Directory integration and SSO standards for VDI environments
• Experience designing and operating certificate-based or passwordless authentication
• Experience with application management and virtualization
• Expertise within OS and end-user computing environments
• Proficiency managing WorkSpaces via automation and scripting
• Experience implementing EUC observability and operational readiness
• Experience modernizing/migrating from VDI platforms to AWS WorkSpaces
• Ability to integrate WorkSpaces with enterprise SaaS solutions
• Demonstrated capability to identify security gaps and produce actionable remediation recommendations
