Job Description
The Pre-Op/PACU Nurse will provide quality care to surgical patients in the Ambulatory Surgery Center in Flowood, MS. Responsibilities include assessing, instructing, and preparing patients prior to surgery, performing safe and individualized nursing care, and communicating effectively with patients and staff.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nursing License
- General clinical competency in acute patient care
- Ability to maintain pace of abbreviated patient encounters
- Aptitude for gathering pertinent medical history and providing concise instruction
- Nursing experience in a perioperative setting (preferred)
- BLS certification (ACLS and PALS preferred)
