MEDICAL ASSISTANT CERTIFIED

We are searching for a dedicated Certified Medical Assistant to work in a fast-paced clinic environment. This position will provide high-quality care to patients under the direct supervision of a physician or physician assistant.

Requirements

• Escort patients to exam rooms, takes detailed history of present illness (HPI), and confirms the reason for the visit
• Prepare patients for examination and be present during examination/treatment to assist the physician in treatment procedures
• Update electronic medical record with relevant and current information about their health condition and changes and progress in patients’ health
• Schedule patient follow up appointments
• Cleans and stocks exam rooms
• Responsible for performing tasks that are within the scope of his/her educational preparation, knowledge, and permitted local, state, and federal guidelines; and the policies of the facility requesting the services.
• Perform associated clerical tasks including scheduling, filing, returning phone calls, etc.
• Maintain a safe clinical environment in accordance with all OSHA guidelines
