Job Description
Primetals Technologies USA is seeking a Mechanical Assembly I at its Benton Harbor, MI facility to support Bay 3 Machine Assembly operations. The role involves disassembly/assembly of machinery, staging, cleaning, inspection, welding, painting, material movement, and component assembly. Knowledge of machine assembly techniques and hydraulic systems is preferred. The company emphasizes continuous learning and contribution.
Requirements
- Performs tasks in support of Bay 3 Machine Assembly
- Assembles component parts and sub-assemblies
- Uses hand tools, power tools, precision measuring tools and other specialized equipment
- Uses heavy lifting equipment and cranes/forklifts safely
- Proficient in reading blueprints and interpreting schematics
- Proper use of safety equipment
- Valid Driver’s license
