Component Engineer I

Component Engineer I role at Mitsubishi Power supports manufacturing, repair, and field service organizations. Develops foundational engineering and component-specific knowledge through training and hands-on assignments. Provides technical ownership for assigned families of gas turbine components.

Requirements

• Four-year degree in a technical or engineering discipline.
• Demonstrated ability to apply engineering principles and technical knowledge to gas turbine components.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, industry reports, and engineering drawings.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including preparation of technical reports and customer-facing documentation.
• Ability to perform required mathematical calculations and sound engineering judgment based on specifications and requirements.
• Advanced personal computer skills, including email, word processing, spreadsheets, graphics, and technical drawings.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Willingness to work in industrial environments, including exposure to noise and chemicals, and adhere to safety and PPE requirements.
