Job Description
Mitsubishi Power Americas is seeking a Field Service Engineer I to support power plant maintenance operations. This role involves traveling to customer locations, performing outage maintenance, and providing technical support. The engineer will apply field service engineering principles and understand gas turbine, steam turbine, and generator related maintenance procedures. The position is demanding and requires working long hours in demanding conditions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (BS) in Engineering from a four-year College or university.
- Minimum 1 year of related experience or training (or equivalent combination)
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical documents, contracts, and work scopes.
- Valid driver’s license and passport.
- Ability to travel extensively and work extended hours.
- Physical & Safety Requirements (standing, walking, bending, etc.)
- Communication skills are important
