Job Description
The Generator Engineer I, Field Services position provides engineering support for maintenance activities on generators and associated auxiliary equipment. The role includes troubleshooting, inspections, repairs, and electrical testing of generator stators, rotors, and components. The candidate will gain experience and develop core competencies required to become a fully dispatchable Generator Engineer, with frequent domestic and international travel.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (BS) in Electrical Engineering from a four-year college or university
- At least one (1) year related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Basic understanding of electrical principles and their relation to the power generation industry
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed
