Requirements

Set up components and perform basic digital programming on welding equipment.
Interpret drawings and work instructions to prepare and assemble parts using cutting and abrasive tools.
Accurately locate and measure surfaces per specifications and perform detailed inspections.
Learn and demonstrate welding techniques using SMAW, TIG, PAW, MIG, and Laser; train others as needed.
Apply and understand penetrant inspection methods (e.g., red-dye, fluorescent).
Control and correct distortion and heat input during welding processes.
Contour welds to meet complex, close-tolerance configurations using appropriate tools.
Recommend and support continuous improvement initiatives in production processes.
Operate furnaces and stress relief equipment.
Perform preventive maintenance on assigned equipment.
Carry out additional duties as assigned.
Adhere to all safety policies and report unsafe conditions to Management or HR.
Actively contribute to team goals in safety, quality, cost, delivery, and productivity.
Communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
Maintain confidentiality and protect proprietary information.
