A Treasury Product Controller is responsible for the accounting and financial reporting for Corporate Treasury, monitoring transactions, Daily and Monthly P&L reporting and commentary, and acting as a primary control function.
Requirements
- Daily, monthly and quarterly P&L production and analysis, including risk-based attribution
- Daily interaction with Corporate Treasury
- Liaison with various areas within the firm (e.g. Operations, Technology, Middle Office and Market Risk)
- Process reengineering to improve efficiencies
- Month-end General Ledger closes
- Balance sheet substantiation
- Ensure the completeness and accuracy of Volcker reporting metrics
- Ad hoc requests
- Participation in Finance initiatives
- Assess new trades for appropriate valuation, accounting treatment, and disclosure in the financial statements
- Work with financial control in preparation of key external reports such as disclosures
- Volcker metrics reporting along with commentary for regulatory submissions
