Job Description
School Counselors provide support to students by offering counseling services, advising, and addressing academic, attendance, and personal issues. They also assist students with learning disabilities, provide accommodations, and coordinate community resources. This role focuses on student well-being and academic success.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in School Counseling
- Current School Counselor license from the Department of Public Instruction or ability to obtain one
- AMI Certification (preferred)
- Valid driver’s license
- CPR certification or the ability to obtain it
- 1+ years of experience preferred
- Proficient computer skills
- Strong communication skills
- Accurate problem solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively
