Senior IT Systems Engineer (Cloud)

As a Senior IT Systems Engineer (Cloud + Network) at MKS, you will partner with IT Engineering, IT Architecture and Business to develop and support IT solutions. In this role, you will report to the cloud engineering and operations manager.

Requirements

• Define system requirements and design robust, scalable architectures.
• Assess and modernize legacy designs with a focus on Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery.
• Design, implement, and maintain secure and scalable Cloud Landing Zones in AWS and Azure.
• Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
• Provide L3-level technical support for cloud environments, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues across AWS, Azure, Windows and Linux platforms.
• Architect and support cloud networking, including VPC/VNet design, routing, firewalls, DNS, load balancing, VPNs, Direct Connect/ExpressRoute, and hybrid networking patterns.
• Design and support integrations between cloud platforms and the corporate WAN, including SD‐WAN, MPLS, private connectivity, and secure edge design.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance cloud solutions aligned with industry best practices.
• Monitor systems for performance, cost efficiency, security, and compliance.
• Support cloud migrations, optimizations, and enhancements of existing environments.
