Job Description
We are looking for an Intermediate Electrical Design Engineer (P.Eng.) with 5-7 years of experience, with a strong focus on Canadian building retrofit projects.
Requirements
- P.Eng. designation
- 5-7 years of experience in Canadian building retrofit projects
- Strong knowledge of the Ontario Electrical Safety Code, ESA Bulletins, and Canadian Electrical Code
- Familiarity with IEEE and CSA standards for power system design and equipment
- Understanding of CSA Z462 and arc flash hazards
- Experience with the Ontario Building Code and National Building Code of Canada
- Expertise with the Ontario Electrical Distribution Code and Local Distribution Company interconnection requirements for Distributed Energy Generation
- Experience working with Local Distribution Companies on electrical services, including customer-owned medium voltage transformation and switchgear
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English
