Endpoint Systems Engineer 

Endpoint Systems Engineer role at a large, complex public organization in the education sector. Opportunity to own and build device management systems, working across Windows, macOS, and iPadOS environments at enterprise scale. Role requires building policies, workflows, and configurations from the ground up, leading large-scale device deployment initiatives, and designing automation and compliance policies.

Requirements

• Proven experience building and configuring MDM environments (Intune and/or JAMF) from scratch
• Strong scripting capabilities, particularly in PowerShell (Windows) and Bash (macOS)
• Experience operating in a large-scale, enterprise environment (ideally supporting thousands of devices)
• Deep understanding of endpoint ecosystems across Windows, macOS, and mobile platforms (iPadOS)
• Hands-on experience with technologies such as Azure AD, O365, VMware, endpoint security tools, and ITSM platforms
• Strong troubleshooting skills across device management, networking, and system integrations
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders
• Professionalism and composure when supporting senior leadership and high-pressure environments
• A self-starter mindset — someone who can research, recommend, and implement solutions independently
