Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Geotechnical Tailings Engineer to join our clients growing and collaborative team in Mississauga, Ontario. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to help drive innovative and sustainable solutions in the field of tailings, mine waste, and mine closure.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Geological, or Mining Engineering
- Professional Engineer (P.Eng) designation in Ontario
- 10 years of relevant experience in geotechnical or tailings engineering
- Strong background in geotechnical field investigations, lab testing, and tailings construction oversight
- Proficiency in geotechnical software (GeoStudio Suite or Rocscience), Excel, and AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Experience or interest in scripting (Python or VBA) is considered an asset
- Strong communication skills in English (French proficiency is an asset)
- Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary, international team environment
- Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally
- Valid driver's license and passport
