BIM Specialist II

The BIM Specialist II is responsible for implementing standards and procedures surrounding the use of Revit/BIM, creating models, families and components, and pursuing excellence for the use of Revit in our workflow.

Requirements

• Excellent with Autodesk Revit, including model creation and maintenance, family and template creation, and script automation.
• Familiarity with Python, Dynamo, or PyRevit for BIM automation preferred.
• Proficient with Autodesk Construction Cloud, BIM Collaborate and cloud-based coordination with internal and external teams.
• Knowledge of linked model workflows and establishing coordinates using survey data.
• Standard knowledge of training others on technical systems and standards.
• Knowledge of building codes, standards, building construction, and building structures.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively multitask and juggle simultaneous demands while remaining flexible and efficient in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently with little direction or oversight.
• Excellent interpersonal as well as verbal and written communication skills.
• Expert knowledge of AutoCAD, and Bluebeam Revu.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to be meticulous, well organized, and clear thinker with excellent time management skills.
• Ability to adopt MN processes and standards.
• Ability to model and reinforce actions and behaviors consistent with the Company's values, mission and culture.
