Senior Procurement Manager

MN Custom Homes is seeking a Senior Procurement Manager to lead procurement operations and optimize total cost and supplier performance. The role involves delivering sourcing strategies, leading complex negotiations, and partnering with cross-functional teams to align procurement activities with business objectives.

Requirements

• Excellent management and supervisory skills.
• Thorough knowledge and understanding of procurement concepts, processes and practices, as well as supply chain management.
• Knowledge of building construction systems means and methods, materials, and industry standards (a plus).
• Expert understanding of supply chain management, contracts, regulations, and technical specifications.
• Ability to review and accurately interpret engineering, architectural and other construction drawings (a plus).
• Comfort with conflict and enforcing rules and standards.
• Strong service-oriented attitude and customer focus.
• Strong presentation and public speaking skills.
• Intellectual curiosity and complete professional ownership.
• Strong interpersonal, relationship building, and verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to effectively (re)prioritize tasks based on competing urgencies or needs.
• Adept at integrating disparate information, correlating data, and understanding data trends.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
• Proficiency or comfort with ERP systems.
