We’re looking for a Technical Audio Designer to bridge the sound design and engineering gap, implementing and owning in-game audio using Unreal Engine’s audio stack, and partnering with engineering to integrate audio systems and solve technical challenges.
Requirements
- Implement and own in-game audio using Unreal Engine’s built-in audio stack
- Design and maintain interactive audio systems
- Build and refine tools, templates, and workflows
- Partner with engineering to integrate audio systems and solve technical challenges
- Tune spatial audio, occlusion, and environmental effects for immersive gameplay
- Optimize audio performance, memory usage, and scalability across platforms
- Debug and troubleshoot audio issues throughout development
- Help define and document best practices for audio implementation
