2026 Virtual Youth Conservation Intern

Join us for the Virtual Youth Conservation Intern program in partnership with the U.S. Forest Service. Work on environmental projects, explore Green STEM career opportunities, and develop collaboration and leadership skills.

Requirements

• Must be at least 15 by June 1 of the program year and may not be older than 18 years old before August 31 of the program year
• Must be enrolled in high school or a 2026 graduate
• Must be able to fully commit to program dates and meeting times
• Must be able to fulfill the essential functions of the assigned work with or without reasonable accommodations
• Have a valid U.S. Social Security number or have applied for a valid Social Security number by start of program
• Must be able to obtain a work permit if needed
• Must be a citizen of the United States or permanent resident
