Director of Data & Analytics

Modern Health is a mental health benefits platform for employers. We are looking for a driven, creative, and passionate individual to join our mission as a Director of Data & Analytics. The role requires a deep understanding of data architecture, ETL processes, and cloud platforms, with a strong ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in data-related roles
• 3+ years leading data engineering, analytics, or data science teams
• Proven success building and executing a data strategy in a health tech or regulated environment
• Deep understanding of modern data architecture, ETL/ELT pipelines, and cloud-based data ecosystems
• Hands-on experience with AI/ML applications, including model development, deployment, and monitoring in production
• Familiarity with healthcare data standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR, claims, EMR/EHR data) and privacy requirements (e.g., HIPAA)
• Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to bridge technical and non-technical audiences
