The Senior Manager, Corporate Development will lead the development and execution of integrated growth plans and investment cases for corporate strategic initiatives, owning and evolving the enterprise value model and driving associated analytics. The role sits at the center of enterprise decision-making, partnering closely with R&D, commercial, finance, and BD teams to ensure a consistent view of value, risk, and resource allocation.
Requirements
- 4+ years of biotech or pharma experience in investment banking, private equity, management consulting, corporate finance, or corporate development/strategy
- Bachelor’s degree
- Strong understanding of valuation, capital allocation, and financial evaluation frameworks
- Experience building and maintaining complex financial models for strategic planning or portfolio decisions
- Experience leveraging AI and advanced tools to enhance analytical workflows, improve efficiency, and generate insights
- Ability to translate scientific and clinical assumptions into financial outcomes and strategic implications
- Strong judgment and ability to balance analytical rigor with speed and decision relevance
- Advanced financial modeling and analytical capabilities
- Knowledge of biotech fundamentals (e.g., development risk, portfolio prioritization, regulatory and IP considerations)
- Transaction experience (e.g., BD/M&A, investment banking, private equity, or related fields)
- Familiarity with industry data sources
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage across levels
