Electro Mechanical Techician II

Mohawk Industries is a leading global flooring manufacturer seeking an Electro Mechanical Technician II to perform reactive and preventative maintenance tasks on precision manufacturing equipment and machinery. The ideal candidate will have experience in maintenance of a manufacturing environment, knowledge of industrial control systems, and welding and fabrication skills.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Associate's degree preferred
• 5+ years experience in maintenance of a manufacturing environment
• Experience with automated production equipment
• Knowledge of industrial control systems
• Welding and fabrication skills related to the modification of existing equipment
• Intermediate experience with PLC's, VFD's and computers
• Ability to work with automation, production, and computer systems
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to read and utilize mechanical and electrical drawings/diagrams
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and within a team setting
