Job Description
The Sr Safety Specialist role at Mohawk Industries involves creating and facilitating an accident-free workplace by executing on and implementing safety policies and programs, providing training, generating and maintaining safety documentation, and ensuring compliance with state and federal laws.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent education and/or experience
- 4-6 years of job specific experience or equivalent education and/or experience
- Safety training and certificates preferred
- Knowledge of OSHA safety disciplines, other regulatory guidelines, and common industrial safety practices
