Chief Economist

MOL Hulladékgazdálkodási Zrt. is seeking a Chief Economist to play a key role in shaping the future of the circular economy, responsible for developing and managing economic, industry, and energy market analyses, forecasts, and models.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in economics
• 8-10 years of relevant professional experience
• Comprehensive analytical knowledge, high-level strategic and/or financial methodological knowledge
• Theoretical knowledge of economic theory, micro- and macroeconomics
• Structured thinking, analytical approach, agility, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills and teamwork
• High-level English language skills
• High-level knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel, as well as statistical and econometric software
• Modeling and programming experience is an advantage
