Process Engineer

Momentive Technologies is a leader in the fused quartz, ceramics, and crucibles industry, and is seeking a Process Engineer to join their dynamic team. The Process Engineer will be responsible for leading all engineering efforts, providing leadership and engineering expertise to the Operations and Maintenance teams, and driving Continuous Improvement efforts in areas of safety, product quality, product delivery, and product cost.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering - Chemical, Ceramic, Mechanical, or Material Science
• 2+ years relevant industry experience
• LSS (Lean Six Sigma)
• Quality (SPC, Control Charts, Process Controls and Repeatability)
• Masters in engineering - Chemical, Ceramic, Mechanical, or Material Science
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in Process Engineering in a manufacturing environment
• Demonstrated Capital Project Management Skills including engagement and management of internal and external resources
• A track record of leading Continuous Improvement efforts with demonstrated sustained outcomes.
• Prior experience mentoring and coaching others with demonstrated management skills
