Clinical Application Analyst - Full Time

The Clinical Application Analyst is responsible for maintaining an in-depth knowledge of supported applications and serve as a first line resource for customer support issues related to these applications.

Requirements

• Application implementation and configuration duties
• Documentation and training
• Act as primary liaison between assigned clinical areas and project teams
• Escalate customer support issues as appropriate
• Participate in assigned area’s clinical leadership meetings and IT/SME group meetings
• Perform detailed needs/workflow analyses in response to user requests for new or additional functionality
• Assess clinical staff training needs and develop plans to meet these needs
• Develop and maintain application support and training documentation
• Act as a consultant to end users, promoting effective use of applications
• Assess, document, prioritize, coordinate and resolve operational issues related to clinical technology utilization
• Act as Project Leader when implementing or upgrading applications
• Participate in development of end user test plans
• Actively participate in the monitoring and maintenance of supported applications
• Regularly attends and actively participates in departmental and project-related meetings and committees
• Adheres to departmental and organizational policies and procedures
• Communicates with end users regarding upcoming changes to their technology environment
• Regularly seeks opportunities to improve IT processes and systems through the use of best practices
