Job Description
Monarch is hiring a Senior Security Engineer, Detection and Response to join our Security team within Foundations. The role involves building detection, automation, and response capabilities, as well as governing the enterprise AI platforms themselves. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in security engineering, with a focus on detection & incident response, corporate security, and AI fluency.
Requirements
- 5+ years in security engineering
- Demonstrated depth in detection & incident response and corporate security
- Experience administering enterprise AI platform controls (Claude Enterprise or OpenAI Enterprise admin)
- Hands-on experience securing SaaS and working with Iru (Kandji) or equivalent MDM and Okta workforce identity
- Integrated AI fluency
- Cloudflare Zero Trust / ZTNA experience (nice to have)
- DLP program experience (nice to have)
- SaaS security posture tooling experience (nice to have)
- Fintech or financial services background
- Relevant certifications: CISSP, CCSP, GCFA, CrowdStrike certifications
