Job Description
CNC Programmer role involves working closely with production and Sales team, developing programs to control machinery, and utilizing software systems (CAD/CAM) for machine code development.
Requirements
- Knowledge of Sheet Metal Layout and Flat Pattern Creation
- Ability to layout bend lines for the Press department and identify aids for welding processes
- Use of logical thinking and identify shortcuts to the production process
- Knowledge of AutoCAD or other CAD software
- Staying up to date with current version of CAD/CAM software
- Knowledge of SigmaNEST, Tru-Topps, or other CAM software
- Programming with detailed efficiency and editing files properly
- Knowledge of Excel or other spreadsheet software
- Knowledge of machine code and paper and electronic document management
