Job Description
Make a Difference in Someone's Life! As a Certified Peer Support Specialist / CPSS, you will provide individualized services in the community and promote individual self-determination and decision-making. You will be part of the Assertive Community Treatment Team and work under the direction of the Assertive Community Treatment Team Leader.
Requirements
- Must hold an active North Carolina Certified Peer Support Specialist (CPSS) Certification to qualify for this position.
- High School Diploma (Required)
- Certifications: Certified Peer Support Specialist (CPSS) - State Division of Mental Health, Developmental Disabilities and Substance Abuse Services (USA), Drivers License (Valid) - USA
- Experience working with adults with a mental health diagnosis and/or substance use disorder | Not Required
- Lived experience and a personal recovery story related to mental illness or substance use. | Required
