Job Description
Monarch is seeking a Registered Nurse to oversee paraprofessionals and provide direct nursing care to individuals in the Behavioral Health Urgent Care (BHUC). The nurse will be responsible for carrying out treatment and supportive care as directed by the Prescriber, Practice Administrator, or Vice President of Operations.
Requirements
- Assess and document individuals' appropriateness for services, level of functioning, health status, mental status, medical history, medications, and medication compliance.
- Educate individuals receiving services about mental illness and substance use disorder, participate in the development of discharge and referral plans.
- Monitor individuals who are receiving services to ensure health and safety.
- Attend and actively participate in meetings and training as required.
- Demonstrate knowledge of and comply with all agency policies and procedures, as well as, state and federal statutes and regulations related to specific program areas
