Job Description
MongoDB is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join their Observability team. This role focuses on building and maintaining the observability stack, which includes metrics, logging, and tracing. The team collaborates with other teams to implement best practices and owns core infrastructure like VictoriaMetrics and Splunk. This is a highly collaborative role involving owning a significant portion of internal systems.
Requirements
- Define standards and vision for observability platform
- Design, architect, build and deliver observability services
- Design, implement, and troubleshoot monitoring for globally distributed services
- Identify and configure key metrics to detect incidents
- Participate in a week-long on-call rotation
